Let me start by telling you all why I suck. I used to do fanfictions, and pretty much all of the people who follow me followed me for that reason. But some time ago I realized I suck at writing fanfiction, and decided to stop. I also told you about some other work I planned on doing, original work I'd been thinking about for a while. I told you I would start posting new work. THen I proceeded to not post anything. That is why I suck.

RIP, Brian Jacques

My time spent in Lethbridge has been uneventful at best, with much time spent doing next to nothing. As we don't have a tv, it also means that I don't have my usual access to current events, and so am completely in the dark about just about everything. For the most part I found little trouble with this, current events not being a particular interest of mine in the first place, but today I discovered a bit of news that left me rather crushed. Brian Jacques died this past February.
Brian Jacques was the writer of the Redwall series, a group of books for children that unlike most, was unpatronizing, intelligent, and just brilliant in every way.
